Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Went in with a friend to grab some boba today at around 8 - you would’ve thought a couple of ghosts walked in. There were at least 3 workers behind the counter that clearly saw us walk in and not a single one said a word to us. The shop had maybe 3 other customers in it, and was not busy. They continued to ignore us as we stood by the register ready to order. After about 5 minutes some lady finally approached the register and flatly said β€œare ya’ll ready to order”. After we ordered and paid she just walked away from the register. While we were seated having our drinks, we noticed that every single person that walked in got a β€œhello welcome in!” and promptly had their order taken. If subpar customer service is to be delivered, I recommend that it’s across the board. Giving some people good customer service and others bad service isn’t a good look. Moreover, a simple β€œwe will be right with you” would’ve sufficed if for whatever reason no one decided to greet us. If I’m spending $7 minimum per drink at your shop, I’d expect to not be treated with at least a smidge of respect. The drinks were subpar, definitely better boba shops in Houston.

The boba here is always so so good! The group of girls that took our order was so so sweet and even drew a cute drawing on our cake πŸ₯Ή I always love going to this location compared to others cause their boba always hits, their cakes are always creamy, and the people are so so amazing! Definitely coming back :)

Was in the area for lunch and stopped here for drinks after. Loved the strawberry overload. Had lots of strawberry bits in the drink. That was my favorite. The other drinks tasted just fine. Although I think the chrysanthemum ginger honey tea served hot would taste better than iced. The place is very spacious and counter staff very patient taking our orders. The foam cakes are pretty good. Really soft and spongy, light, and not overly sweet. I think I'll try with strawberries next time.

I’ve always enjoyed Feng Cha at different locations but unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to those experiences. I ordered the same drink I always get, but it tasted disappointingly bland and watery compared to what I’m used to. It’s surprising how much the quality can vary between locations. On the bright side, the interior is spacious and provides a nice place to relax and hang out. However, if you’re looking for a consistent drink, I’d recommend sticking to other locations instead. Hoping this location improves the drink quality soon because the ambiance deserves better.
